CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOR NAVAL CHILDREN AFTER 10+2

 

1.         ITC Welcomgroup has offered course cum career opportunities in ITC Ltd – Hotel division for the wards of Naval Personnel  (Boys)  after 10+2. 

 

2.         The sailent features of the programme are as follows: -

 

(a)        A 4-years training programme in Hospitality Management including an Undergraduate Degree Course (BA) from IGNOU.

 

(b)        Cost of the training will be borne by ITC Ltd – Hotels Division.

 

(c)        Trainees will be paid a stipend during the programme.

 

(d)        Graduates will be offered Frontline Positions in the company's hotels across the country.

 

(e)        Programme will commence on 05 Aug 10.

 

 

3.         Eligibility:-

 

(a)        Boys appearing for Class XII in the year 2009-10 Examination.

 

(b)        Minimum marks 65% in Class XII.

 

(c)        Must be fluent in English, with a high level of general awareness and basic knowledge of computers.

 

(d)        Should have proven record of leadership in School.

 

(e)        Candidate must be fit and healthy, both physically and emotionally.

 

(f)         Weight must be proportionate to height..

 

4.         Follwing are requested: -

 

(a)        Application form (free of cost) must be sought from the following address before 1st March of the year in which appearing/appeared for the XIIth  Standard final exam: -

RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP
 
It is observed and pointed out during the AGM that many of our partners defaulted their membership fee and the due amount mounts to Rs.123250/- as of date. Such lapses are of great concern for the function of the association. Hence it is decided to collect amount by online payment for life membership fee of Rs.2500/- for those who have outstanding dues. CONTINGENCY FUNDS
 
We inform you all that there was good response from all Partners towards contribution to the contingency fund. AGM proposed to collect maximum amount for the contingency fund and decided to collect Rs 100/- per month from willing members and to arrange this through bank allotment. AGM decided to send willingness form to all members. The AGM approved up to a maximum of Rs 5000/- as educational grant to needy child of our active members and also authorized the Executive Committee to study each cases to its merit and amount ranging from Rs 3000/- to Rs 5000/- to be granted subjected to fund availability at that time. This year EXNAWA granted as educational grant of Rs 5000/- to a child of our member and Rs 5000/- as welfare grant to a much needed elderly Partner.
 
HELP DESK 
 
EXNAWA decided to start a Data Bank for the benefit of retiring Artificers and Job seekers. Many agencies intimate their requirements to EXNAWA/CAMCO (A Ltd Company owned by Artificers) for technical manpower supply. So all job seakers are advised to register their name with EXNAWA, Kochi along with their C.Vs.
 
APPRECIATION
 
AGM appreciated the Executive Committee for occasional house visit of elderly partners and other members who were in distress.
 
EXAM 2009
 
The Ex-Artificers Meet (EXAM) 2009 is scheduled at Chennai from 10- 13 Sept. The organizers expect a great gathering. Around 250 families are expected to attend from all over India.
